Fashion trends for the Fall 2014 from Fashion Weeks

The great Fashion Show for the Fall 2014 has included fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris. There were little bloggers on the runways because the list of guests was limited. But certainly nothing could stop fashion lovers to have an opportunity to view the most expected pieces of the season and to show them in the different fashion blogs, Twitter and Instagram.

Anticipated runways

One of the most waited shows was at the Louvre in Paris where Nicolas Ghesquière showed his new collection for Louis Vuitton, having taken the reins from Marc Jacobs who left Vuitton to make his own brand? Karl Lagerfeld offered his new incredible collection for Chanel. Marc Jacobs certainly presented to the public his new creations and designed his show in a wonderful way. All his models were dressed in beautiful pastels and they walked under the white fluffy clouds.

Beautiful in Pastel Shades

Pastels will be on-trend the whole year. In autumn they will be very popular too, so don’t hide them away. Burberry, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Phillip Lim, Gucci and Miu Miu have shown their collections on the runways in pastel shades. Spring outfits will be actual too and if you have bought them a lot .

Fur

It will be one of the most coveted materials for the Fall 2014. All the famous designers offer various fur pieces in their collections. They breathed the life into gorgeous coats, jackets, dresses and handbags. Also fur is used in fabulous accessories such as Givenchy’s arm warmers or Carolina Herrera’s cozy scarves. Matthew Williamson offers to wear fur coats over the stylish leather pants. Jason Wu at the same time combines fur coat and a classic suit.

Various comfy knits

Lots of designers showed beautiful knitted pieces in New York City. The knitted outfits on the runways of the Row were so exaggerated and comfy that they looked very as if they were from real lives. Alexander Wang created his own knits such as different sweaters with massive shoulders and showed them as a new line for the House of Balenciaga. Stella McCartney, Chanel, and Celine created the head-to-toe knits that can keep you warm in cold days of autumn.

Cape is on-trend

Looks with various capes continue their march along the runways this fall. Lupita Nyong’o, a new style icon, wore a wonder red cape dress by Ralph Lauren to the 2014 Golden Globes. Many designers like Valentino, Barbara Bui, Salvatore Ferragamo also emphasizes various variants of capes. Some fashion brands make them comfortable but other want to add some dramatic elements to this piece.

Sporty and chic garments

There were very many sporty things on the runways. Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, Proenza Schouler, DKNY and Chanel offer different playful windbreakers and puffer coats. Tom Ford created beautiful football jersey dresses.
