What is the source of all these thoughts? The actresses, wearing incredible Armani’s gowns have won the Oscar awards for 5 times. It’s fantastic. There are so many different designers and they can choose everything they like. But they choose Armani and win the trophy. So, let’s take a look back and remember all these fabulous moments again.

Significant outfits by Armani

Giorgio Armani really ruled the 90s. Fashion writers even called the Academy Awards in 1990 as the “Armani Awards.” That year 80-year-old Jessica Tandy won the title of Best Actress for “Driving miss Daisy” and became the oldest winner of the trophy. She wore a beautiful midnight-blue jacket adorned with beads over a black gown. Other actresses were also dressed in Armani’s creations. Michelle Pfeiffer was the nominee for the Best Actress, Jodie Foster and Julia Roberts were nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

Jodie Foster became the best-actress winner in 1992. Shw won the prize for the film “The Silence of the Lambs”. Her pastel pink jumpsuit by Armani was the next lucky outfit. A wonderful grosgrain jacket together with beaded pants created a perfect combination. Smooth satin gloves and a sheer scarf made this look finished.

Last year, in 2014 Cate Blanchett won the Best Actress Award for her “Blue Jasmine”. She arrived to the Acadamy Award in a wonderful evening dress designed by Armani. This gown in soft gold had a flare skirt and was decorated by lots of light Swarovski crystals. Cate looked wonderful and Armani said that she had her own style and for sure could enter any best-dressed list.
